These guidelines can be adapted according to the local context and the constraints related to the implementation of a project.

WORLD YOUTH CHOIR FOUNDATION RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitment of conductor(s)

Recruitment of singers

Selection of repertoire [WYCF Artistic Advisors in consultation with conductor(s)]

WYC Session Manager who will work with the local organizers and be responsible for the overall success of the session (rehearsal and tour)

Support with the design of promotional materials

Promotion of the concert tour through the WYC communication channels, including the communication channels of the three patrons (JMI, ECA, IFCM)
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Organisational responsibilities

Identifying a local coordinator (presenter) who will be responsible for the overall project (contract with WYC Foundation, budget, rehearsal session, concerts)

Planning and coordinating the concert tour (minimum 5 concerts for the Full Session and 2 concerts for the Short Session)

Securing accommodations and venue for the 5-7 day rehearsal prior to the tour

Video recording of at least one concert
Financial responsibilities
-
Session fee (package fee) to WYC Foundation as a contribution to the session production and administrative costs

Conductor(s) fee
-
All travel and living costs for the conductor(s) and WYC Session Manager for the full duration of the session and tour

All living costs for singers during the session (accommodation, meals, ground transportation) NB: Singers are responsible for their own travel to the rehearsal location and return home.

All other organisation costs for the session and tour (concert venue rental, programs, T-shirts for the singers and staff, concert advertisement, communication, etc.)

Local coordinator salary/honourarium

Hosting representatives of the WYC Foundation (minimum 3) for up to 2 nights during the session
