We are thrilled to announce the 2025 World Youth Choir Summer Session from July 13 to August 1, 2025. 

 

Daniel Reuss, an internationally renowned conductor (Capella Amsterdam, Rias kammerchor, Ensemble vocal de Lausanne…) will be the artistic director, with a programme including composers from all over Europe (Vaughan-Williams, Vasks, Ligeti, Schnittke, Martin…), traditional repertoire, and a world première.

This session will be hosted by the Federació Catalana d’Entitats Corals (FCEC), with a rehearsal period in Catalonia and a concert tour in Spain (Barcelona, Madrid, Alcala de Henares…) and France with a performance at Festival de Prades Pablo Casals and Choralies in Vaison-la-Romaine.

 

The choir will be composed of 64 young singers (aged between 18 and 26) from all over the world who are interested in improving their skills of choral singing and are passionate, experienced high-level choral singers or soloists. Singers will be selected through an audition process, including an international jury. The goal of each World Youth Choir session is to create a high-quality young ensemble with a balanced blend of voices and a wide geographic representation.

 

The recruitment material can be submitted in cooperation with one of the recruiters delegated around the world or through a direct application process (under certain conditions).
